This site collects very little, and what it does collect is measurement rather than identity. There is no account to create, no newsletter, no comment form and no profile attached to anyone who reads a page.
The controller for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation is the publisher of Golisimo Review, reachable at [email protected]. Last reviewed 27 October 2026.
What gets recorded
| Data | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| Page address viewed and language | Knowing which pages are read | Aggregated, 24 months |
| Time on page and scroll depth | Judging whether a page is useful | Aggregated, 24 months |
| Clicks on outbound operator links | Attribution for affiliate commission | Aggregated, 24 months |
| Session identifier | Preventing the same visit counting twice | Browser session |
| Server access logs | Security and fault diagnosis | Short-term, host-managed |
Measurement is stored in aggregate counters rather than as a per-person history. No name, email address, payment detail or advertising identifier is collected, because the site never asks for one.
Cookies
Two kinds are in use. A session cookie set by the web server keeps a single visit coherent and expires when the browser closes. Beyond that, the site’s own measurement script runs from this domain and records the events in the table above.
There is no third-party advertising network, no retargeting pixel, no social-media tracker and no cross-site identifier on these pages. Blocking cookies or scripts in your browser will not stop any article from loading or displaying correctly.
Affiliate links
Links to the operator pass through a redirect on this domain, which registers that a click happened and then forwards the browser. The destination may set its own cookies under its own policy, which this site neither controls nor can read.
What comes back to us is commission data at the aggregate level, not a list of who signed up or what anyone deposited.
Legal basis
Security logging and the session cookie rest on legitimate interests in operating a website safely. Audience measurement also rests on legitimate interests, narrowed deliberately: the data is aggregated, no profile is built, and nothing is shared with an advertising ecosystem. Readers who object can block the script in the browser with no loss of content.
Who else sees it
The hosting provider processes server logs on our behalf. The affiliate network supplies aggregate commission reporting. Nobody else receives anything, and no data is sold, rented or used to train anything.
Data is stored within the European Economic Area. Should that change, this page will say so and name the safeguard relied on.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also complain to a supervisory authority, which in Ireland is the Data Protection Commission.
Requests go to the address at the top of this page. One practical note worth making: because measurement here is aggregated and carries no identifier tied to a person, we usually cannot isolate an individual’s records, and we will say so plainly rather than invent a search.
Children
This site is intended for adults aged 18 or over and is not directed at children. No content is designed to appeal to minors, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
